How to check and repair a MySQL database through cPanel?

If your database is performing slowly or you notice errors similar to "table crashed" you may need to run some MySQL maintenance through phpMyAdmin or cPanel. In this article, we will show you how to run a full check and repair of your database within cPanel using just a few simple clicks.

Step 1: Login to cPanel

Step 2: Once you’re logged in, locate the "Databases" section of cPanel. Within, there is an icon for "MySQL Databases ". Click on the “MySQL Databases" icon.

Step 3. Within this page, scroll down to “Modify Databases” section.

Step 4. To repair a database, select the database that you want to check and repair in the dropdown next to “Repair Database”, and click on “Repair Database” button.

Step 5. cPanel will then first check and automatically repair database including tables.
