How to Export MySQL Database using phpMyAdmin?

Step 1: Login to cPanel

Step 2: Enter your username and password. Click the blue login button to log in to the main cPanel page.

Step 3. Once you’re logged in, locate the "Databases" section of cPanel. Within, there is an icon for "phpMyAdmin". Click on the “phpMyAdmin " icon.

Step 4. In “phpMyAdmin” screen select the database using the left menu.

Step 5. Click “export” button in the tabs along the top of the screen.

Step 6. Click on the radial button for Quick. If you want more complete control, then click on Custom.

Step 7. Next, you will need to click on the format of the export file. By default, it should be on SQL, so you don't need to change anything. The phpMyAdmin export process allows you to export into these formats: SQL, CVS, CodeGen, CVS, JSON, YAML and many more.

Step 8. Click on the Go button in order to perform the export.

Step 9. You will be prompted to either open or save the file. Please select the option to save the file and then save the somewhere you'll remember (such as directly on your desktop).
